Flavoured Popcorn

Ingredients:
  • ¼ cup un-popped plain popping corn
  • ⅛ teaspoon cumin
  • ⅛ teaspoon coriander, dried
  • ⅛ teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 large brown paper bag
Method:
  1. PLACE the un-popped corn into the brown paper bag and fold the top over twice to seal in the corn.
  2. COOK in microwave on high for 2 ½ to 3 minutes, or until you hear pauses of about 2 seconds between pops.
  3. ALLOW to stand for 20 seconds and then carefully open the bag and pour into a bowl.
  4. COMBINE the cumin, coriander and curry powder and toss through the popcorn before serving.

Lightly seasoned air-popped popcorn is a healthy, high fibre snack perfect for the lunchbox! Feel free to experiment with different seasonings such as smoked paprika, garlic powder or chilli powder. If you’re craving something sweet, cocoa powder or cinnamon work well too!
